As a way to announce Colonial Tonewoods New Web Site Steve Roberson is running a drawing for this very special set of quilted Koa.

This carries a retail value of ~$600 and this is a very rare set of wood. Steve is also starting a periodic newsletter and anyone registering will also begin receiving his monthly temptations.

Good luck.

Here is the set in more detail.

Steve, Nice site. Lots of good information there and easy to navigate. It looks like you put a lot of work into it and it came out well done. There were a few minor glitches that I came across and listed below but overall I really like the site (as well as the wood).

1) On your main page you have a link to "Hondurian RW" and another to "Honduras RW" that both link to the same page.

2) On your "Honduran Mohogany" pricing page you repeat the following two sentences in both paragraphs, "From time to time we'll offer many types of figured Honduras mahogany such as curly and quilted. Not only are these sets fantastic when finished, they still produce the same superb tonal qualities as non figured mahogany."

3) On your "Guitar Bridge Pins" page it doesn't show what degree taper the pins are.

4) On your "Kerfing" page, you should change that heading to "Linings" before Howard Klepper gets wind of it.

Also, thanks for offering up the freebie of fantastic looking Koa.

Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. Revamping my site was one heck of an undertaking and I can tell you I won't be doing it again anytime soon.
Thanks Roy for the head's up--I've got a few bugs to work out and I'll be listing quite a few more sets, loads of pics and new text this week.
Larry it does look like bird's eye buy it is indeed quilt.
Thanks Bob for the kind remark--I know you understand what it's like doing everything by yourself, not enough hours in the day.
I have about 20 sets just like the one in the giveaway. Please contact me if you're interested and I can forward pics.
Thanks,
Stephen

Steve I sure do. It seems like one never gets caught up.

Your new site looks great!
Nice selection of products you have there,
And loads fast on my slow dial-up connection.
Worth the wait, good job.

Tom

Great to see the new site! I was a recent visitor to Steve's shop. Beautiful zoot and a great host. I hope to get my pics together to post soon. Of course, he has better pics of the wood for sale, but you don't get the ambiance of the place. Spent my emergency money on great deals from Steve and my wife still spoke to me on the way home to Knoxville. Worked out well Steve.

Steve, good job on the new site!

I have shopped a few times from Colonial, and have gotten both excellent woods and service. I'll be back for more!

Steve, love the site, do you plan to have the individual B&S sets photographed for viewing on the site?

Mike,
I do have individual sets listed. If you click the products button you'll see a list of materials. Click on back and sides, then the species you're after and then you'll see the individual sets I've listed so far.
Please contact me if I can answer any questions.

Steve

Steve,

The new site is great. Very easy to navigate, nice to look at. Bet you're glad it's up and running!

So, when do we find out I didn't win?
